Our goal is a seamless global network where every member benefits from strong, reliable connections. We already span North America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and South America, and we are keen to grow into the regions we do not yet cover.

We are especially keen to grow in areas we do not yet serve well. See the key targets below.

2. Complementary networks, not duplicates.
Large regions such as Europe, the USA and China can support several members, provided their networks complement rather than overlap. Smaller markets are usually best served by one carrier. Either way, the test is whether you add reach without competing head to head with an existing
member.

3. Prioritize interlining with members.
Support your fellow members by interlining with them first and routing traffic through the alliance before looking outside it. You may occasionally be asked to drop an interline with a member’s direct competitor so the alliance stays strong.

4. Schedule for connections.
Time your arrivals and departures so partners can build smooth connections through your hub.

5. Interline with members.
Set up agreements with existing partners promptly so the network stays connected.

6. Respect territory and existing deals. Do not undercut or poach a member’s established routes, and honour arrangements already in place.

Priority areas where we want to grow. We are after one or two complementary carriers per area, not one from every country, so the suggested hubs below are examples.

● Oceania (1-2): Australia (SYD/MEL) and/or New Zealand (AKL).
● UK & Ireland: London (LHR) is a must; Dublin (DUB) optional.
● Iberia & Benelux (1-2): Spain (MAD/BCN) and/or Netherlands (AMS).
● Southeast Asia (1-2): e.g. Thailand (BKK) or Philippines (MNL).
● South America (1-2): e.g. Argentina (EZE), Chile (SCL), Colombia (BOG) or Peru (LIM).
● Africa (1-2): e.g. Egypt (CAI), Kenya (NBO), Ethiopia (ADD), Nigeria (LOS) or Morocco (CMN).
